Improvisation

Alex has improvised with Comedy Store Players, Improbable Theatre (including Animo, Permission Improbable and Lifegame) and her twoprov Alex and Siobhan. She trained with Keith Johnstone and Bay Area Theatresports in San Francisco. Her company the Salvo’s pioneered long-form improv in the UK and their shows Hard Hearted Hannah and Other Stories and Made Up toured everywhere from the Soho Theatre to the Kennedy Center, DC.

As an Associate of Improbable she has co-led several improv workshops with Guy Dartnell including the improvisation project Generations with Guy Dartnell, working with a group of local elders and designer-makers from Central Saint Martins. She also teaches Acting for Improv / Improv for Acting at the Actors Centre.
