Writing

Following a residency at the Royal National Theatre Studio Alex was invited to the Royal Court Writers Group. She was awarded a place the Jerwood/Arvon writing residency mentored by award-winning playwright Chris Thorpe - which led to becoming Writer-in-Residence at Theatr Clwyd. Plays include All This is Real, We Got All the Shops, When I Was Alive and Light is on a Timer. Her literary agent is Ikenna Obiekwe at Independent Talent Group.

Her plays have been commissioned by National Theatre Wales and The Royal Shakespeare company.
