Theatre

I love swashbuckling stories and I'm addicted to improvisation.  I work freelance in the theatre as an actor and director and most of the time that is with Cartoon de Salvo.  I love theatre but feel sometimes at odds with the way the thing operates.  Insularaty and snobbery has left the theatre cold and I've noticed that most of my friends would rather go to the movies.  But theatre isn't film, nor is it literature, it's live and tangible. So I've become interested in spontaneity, in live music and playing with the relationship with the audience.  I think there's more to taking risks in the theatre than swearing and taking your clothes off.  The bold intention I guess is that I want to change the way people feel about going to the theatre.
